To The Pumpkin Patch We Go

I can't believe it...their very first field trip.
Friday, the little girls and I went to Lane's Packing to visit the pumpkin patch with their preschool class.  They were so excited to be going...even though, I'm positive they had no idea what was in store for them.  The agenda was packed with goodies!  The kids were going on a hay ride, playing in a hay maze and strolling through the pumpkin patch, of course.  We were going to go through the corn maze, but with all the rain, it was too muddy.  I don't believe the girls minded too much, because there were so many other things for them to do.
The girls listened intently as the nice lady told them all about pumpkins and how they grew.
Okay...okay...they were still long enough for me to snap a picture!
When it was time to get ready for our hay ride, the little ones were unsure of all their new friends.
Of course, we had to touch all the pumpkins...
and pick up any that were our size.
The girls got to watch the ducks eat with their little friend Bella.
 Such a sweet face.
No.  Miss Kaitlyn, you should not be climbing on that fence.
We finished off our morning with a delicious frozen treat...ice cream!
They both went home with full tummies and a little pumpkin to carve!
It was definitely a wonderful day.
